As a kid nothing was better than sitting down to some cartoons on a Saturday morning with a big ole bowl of sugary goodness. I loved all the kiddie cereals and Lucky Charms was one of the best. Hupe Royalty. I know it's a few months since St. Paddy's day, but so what. Lucky Charms are good all year long.
Jose Calderon is lucky he has skills as an MLB umpire in case of a prolonged NBA lockout.
Carmelo's lucky 7 was only sorta lucky, I guess. The Knicks made the playoffs, but were knocked out in 4 by the Celtics.
Derrick Rose's luck led him to the league MVP trophy, though I suppose his skills had a little to do with that too.
